Rinsed with a controlled water flow, never a pressure washer aimed at sensitive components, then dried with air and microfibre.
Plastics and trim lightly dressed to a factory-matte or subtle-satin finish (customer preference), not the sticky wet look.
Studio-lit inspection; covers removed; keys returned.

Engine bays reward preparation. Chemistry, technique and dressing choice change the result more than time on the tools.
ECUs, alternators, exposed air intakes, coil packs and non-sealed connectors are covered before cleaning. Modern cars are more sealed than they used to be, but 'sealed' is not a guarantee, protecting them is a matter of professional habit, not fear.
The right degreaser lifts baked oil and grime without stripping paint from bay components or attacking rubber and plastic. Dilution ratios and dwell times matter, 'more concentrate' is not 'more clean'.
We favour a factory-matte or subtle satin finish over the wet, sticky look. Dust bonds to overdressed plastic; matte finishes stay clean much longer and look correct on both modern and classic engines.
Annually as maintenance is sensible for most cars, more often for vehicles that see a lot of winter road use.
Engine bay is a common add-on to a full detail; it aligns with the rest of the reset and the car has to be with us for 48 hours anyway.
